100% Outpatient Clinic - Shareholder Track Opportunity
Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a multi-specialty group with more than 500 healthcare providers in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a provider to its growing Neurology Department.
MMG is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified General Neurologist or a Neurologist with fellowship training in Neuromuscular Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Movement Disorders, or Headache for outpatient clinic-focused practice with our diverse Neuroscience division. Call is shared and averages 1:5 with access to hospitalists 24/7 and a strong built-in referral system. This opportunity offers the ability to participate in clinical trials and work with residents if desired.
Minimal clinical call; Hospital call compensation in addition to guaranteed salary; Option to take Tele-Stroke call for even more compensation opportunities.
This candidate will work in support of the Dignity Health Neurological Institute of Northern California, a market leader actively involved in clinical research trials and consistently setting the community standard for patients affected by neurological diseases.

Compensation Range: $308,000 - $363,000 / Year

Responsibilities
Patient Care:
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Provide clear and concise medical information.
- Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
Diagnostic Procedures:
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
- Perform procedures as needed
- Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
- Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.
Quality Improvement:
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
- Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
- Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
Compliance:
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
- Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.
Continuous Learning:
- Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.
- Participate in ongoing medical education and training.
- Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications
- A valid and unrestricted California medical license
- Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
- Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
Pay Range
$148.00 - $174.00 /hour
