An established Hospital System in Connecticut is currently seeking a licensed Urologist to join their growing team!
Responsibilities:
The Urologist will:
- Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations; listen to and discuss patients' symptoms and concerns related to the urinary and reproductive systems
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood tests, urine tests, imaging studies (ultrasound, CT scans, MRI), and urodynamic studies to diagnose conditions
- Prescribe medications to treat various urological conditions, such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and prostate issues
- Provide counseling and education to patients about their conditions and treatment options
- Diagnose and treat cancers of the urinary tract and reproductive organs
- Monitor patients' progress post-treatment and make adjustments to the treatment plan as needed
- Schedule regular follow-up appointments to ensure ongoing health and address any concerns
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Connecticut
- Board Eligible / Certified in Urology
