A physician practice affiliated with a hospital in Rockland is currently seeking a licensed Urologist to join their growing team!

About the opportunity:

Setting: 75% outpatient, 25% inpatient

On Call: Call rotated among team of urologists


Responsibilities:


The Urologist will:

  • Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations; listen to and discuss patients' symptoms and concerns related to the urinary and reproductive systems
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood tests, urine tests, imaging studies (ultrasound, CT scans, MRI), and urodynamic studies to diagnose conditions
  • Prescribe medications to treat various urological conditions, such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and prostate issues
  • Provide counseling and education to patients about their conditions and treatment options
  • Other duties, as needed


Qualifications:
Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
Board Eligible / Certified in Urology
