Facility in Waterloo, IA seeking Urology Locums coverage

Rates: $300/hr

Position Overview:

Facility is seeking Board Certified Urologists to provide locum coverage for 1-2 weeks per month. This opportunity involves working in a modern facility with state-of-the-art equipment, offering comprehensive care in a well-supported environment.

Schedule & Duties:

• Clinic Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

• Call: TBD; Call may not be required often

• Average Patients/Day: 25, with 4-5 new consults per day

• Setting: Outpatient clinic with on-site lab and ultrasound. No Urolift, Space OAR, or MRI fusion procedures performed in the clinic.

• Procedures: General Urology

• Support Staff: 6 RNs, referral clerk, clinic supervisor, lab and ultrasound technician

• EMR: EPIC in the clinic, Cerner in the hospital

Required Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Urology (REQUIRED)

• Iowa State License (REQUIRED, not accepting non-licensed/IMLC candidates)

• ACLS Certification (REQUIRED)

• Local/Drive-in Candidates (Highly Preferred)

• Estimated Timeframe: 30 days due to emergent need
