Schedule: Monday - Friday, with 7-10 days of on-call duty per month

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Urologist to join our medical team in Fortuna, CA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in a broad range of urological procedures, with a strong emphasis on advanced endoscopic techniques, laparoscopic surgery, and robotic-assisted procedures. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to practice adult urology with minimal pediatric cases in a supportive and dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of urological procedures, including but not limited to laparoscopic surgery, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, pelvic node dissection, and robotic surgery.
  • Conduct partial nephrectomies with intraoperative ultrasound, renal and bladder procedures with biopsy, and transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) biopsies.
  • Provide fertility work-up and treatment for patients with urological conditions.
  • Deliver high-quality care to adult patients, with a focus on diagnosing and treating complex urological disorders.
  • Participate in a rotational on-call schedule, handling 7-10 days of call per month.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in Urology.
  • Must hold an active California medical license and Fluoroscopy permit.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in advanced endoscopic, laparoscopic, and robotic-assisted urological surgeries.
  • Experience in percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, pelvic node dissection, partial nephrectomies with intraoperative ultrasound, renal and bladder procedures with biopsy, and TRUS biopsies.
  • Strong background in fertility work-ups and treatment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
