Urology opening in Texas Located in Harlingen, TX Full-Time & Permanent Seeking a BE/BC Urologist to join hospital. - Employed urology opportunity - Practice located within hospital building - Must be board certified or board eligible - Must be willing to take call at Trauma level II facility - Spanish a plus, not required - Patients are 90% Hispanic, there is lots of support for translation - Call 1:4 Location: Lower Rio Grande Valley consists of the Brownsville, Harlingen, Weslaco, Pharr, McAllen, Edinburg, Mission, San Juan, and Rio Grande City metropolitan areas in the United States. Each of the cities are about 30 minutes from each other. The total population is around 1.5 million. There are several beaches 30 minutes from the city, notably Isla Blanca Beach. There is no traffic in this region. There is a medical school that is part of U of T. Lower cost of living about 25% less than other areas. Doctors who choose to practice in this region have a huge impact on the community. The area isn't saturated, which means that doctors are able to build successful practices easily.
