Schedule/Shift Details: 7am – 5pm, Mon – Fri
Call: 5pm-7am
Schedule: Weekend Call Fri 5pm – Mon 7am
Need: 3-6 month contract
Due to schedule accommodations, we will need the locums to be flexible as the schedule may be different from month to month (Example: may work Monday to Monday, Friday to Friday, etc.). They cover day and night call at both Baptist and Richland (within 3 miles of eachother).
Work Details:
Support staff: 4 NPs and 1 AP
Amount of coverage needed per month: 1-2 weeks/month
Patients per day: 10 Patient
Population/age: Adult
Setting: Hospital - Inpatient
Department description: General Inpatient coverage to include ER Call. Neonate and Pediatric not required. Preferred skills included: Laparoscopic surgery, Radical cystectomy w/ileo-loop conduit, Radical prostatectomy, Nephrectomy, Pelvic node dissection, robotic surgery, partial nephrectomies/intraoperative u/s, Renal and bladder u/s w/biopsy, TRUS biopsies, Incontinence procedures, penile prosthesis, ESWL, Brachytherapy. Robotics is a PLUS
Special procedures: Holmium laser certification preferred
Skills required: Advanced endoscopic techniques, Ureteroscopy. Lab and x-ray onsite.
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 (best with SC license) - up to 120 days (minimum without)

Robotics is a PLUS

Qualifications

Board Certification: BC - Urology
State license: SC (will license but takes 120 days minimum to credential)
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
EMR: EPIC experience preferred
