Urology Opportunity

Location: North Carolina

Job Type: Contract (3 months)

Start Date: ASAP

Hours:

• Clinic Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Last patient at 4:00 PM, Lunch from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM)
• Alternating weekend hospital call

Patient Load:

• 20 patients per day

Responsibilities:

• Provide general urology care in a clinic setting, including procedures such as prostate biopsies, cystoscopies, prostate ultrasounds, and general urology follow-ups.
• Alternate with other staff for hospital call, including potential 24-hour hospital call every other week.
• Cover ED call if staying over the weekend.
• Perform surgeries and work in the OR as required.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist
• North Carolina Medical Licence
• North Carolina DEA
• Experience with general urology procedures
• Ability to perform surgeries and work in the OR
• Willingness to take hospital call and occasional 24-hour call shifts
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR is preferred
