Position: Urologist
Start Date: September 2024
Coverage Type:
- Cross-credentialed at both UPMC Hanover and UPMC Memorial Hospitals
- Provide call coverage for one week per month, from Monday 7:00 AM to the following Monday 7:00 AM, to supplement call taken by employed urologists
Schedule Details:
- One week per month
Work Details:
- Practice Setting: Small community hospitals
- EMR/Charting Software: Epic
- Patient Age Group: 99% adult, 1% pediatric
- Procedures: Includes consults, patient rounding, and surgeries. Patient phone calls are initially handled through our nurse advice line.
Requirements:
- Board Certifications: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE)
- State License(s): Pennsylvania (PA)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
- DEA Required: Yes
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years, with normal urology surgeon requirements
- Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
