Exciting Urology Opportunity in PA! - Aya Locums

Position: Urologist

Start Date: September 2024

Coverage Type:

• Cross-credentialed at both UPMC Hanover and UPMC Memorial Hospitals
• Provide call coverage for one week per month, from Monday 7:00 AM to the following Monday 7:00 AM, to supplement call taken by employed urologists

Schedule Details:

• One week per month

Work Details:

• Practice Setting: Small community hospitals
• EMR/Charting Software: Epic
• Patient Age Group: 99% adult, 1% pediatric
• Procedures: Includes consults, patient rounding, and surgeries. Patient phone calls are initially handled through our nurse advice line.

Requirements:

• Board Certifications: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE)
• State License(s): Pennsylvania (PA)
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
  
• DEA Required: Yes
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years, with normal urology surgeon requirements
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
