Locums – Urbana, Illinois, Urology Opening (IMLC Accepted)
- Clinical Role:

- ASAP – Ongoing Need
- Clinic 8a-5p and inpatient, 1-2 weeks per month, with some weeknight call (Q5)
- Patient Population: 98% Adult, 2% or less Pediatric. Pediatric patients could be transferred to a pediatric hospital if locums’ provider not comfortable managing treatment
- Support Staff: APRN support 7am-5pm
- Procedures Required: Acute assessment and medical and/or surgical treatment of general Urology patients and conditions, including but not limited to stone disease, testicular torsion, urologic trauma, urinary retention, hematuria, surgical complications, Fournier gangrene, cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, stent placement
- # of Physicians/APPs in Department: 3 MD/5APP, 3 partnering MD for city call coverage
- 433 beds in facility
- Trauma Level I
- EMR: Epic
- Active IL License or IMLC Required
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Urology, MD or DO
- BLS Certification – Required
