Job Responsibilities
Conduct diagnostic tests such as X-rays and ultrasounds
Interpret results of tests to diagnose medical conditions
Prescribe medications and treatments
Perform surgeries to treat urinary tract and reproductive system diseases and injury
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients on preventative care and lifestyle changes
Refer patients to other specialists when needed
Maintain patient records and document all treatments and procedures
Qualifications
State license to practice medicine
Board eligible or certification in Urology
