The health system also provides excellent benefits and paid malpractice. The practice promotes work-life balance: flexible work schedule, manageable call and 7 weeks paid time off. There is a 4 day work week option, too.
The practice features 5 urologists, supported by a team of experienced advanced providers. The health system serves a growing patient population of 750,000 in eastern Kentucky, southern Ohio, and West Virginia. With a vast network of primary care providers, and referrals from 20 area hospitals, this group has a vibrant practice.
Other program highlights:
• Dedicated urology-specific surgery teams, quick room turnarounds, and robotics. Our newest procedures include Aquablation and Urolift for BPH, and Bulkamid for urinary stress incontinence.
• On-campus Urology Procedure Center that provides urodynamics, prostate seed implants, prostate biopsy, cystoscopy and stent removal.
The community is safe, family-friendly community with great schools, affordable living and excellent local shopping and dining. The town also features access to beautiful state and national parks and a variety of outdoor pursuits (hiking, skiing, whitewater rafting, golf, tennis, cave exploration, hunting and fishing). The town is an easy day trip to Cincinnati, Columbus, Lexington, and Louisville.
