Start Date: May 1, 2024
Contract Length: Ongoing while perm hiring
Shift Details: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (Flexible schedule, no call coverage)

Work Details:

• Support Staff: Full-time APP; LPNs, CMAs, HUC
• Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Very flexible, but seeking interest in utilizing Da Vinci robot in addition to clinic practice
• Da Vinci Robotic Surgery – Urology: The da Vinci System features a magnified 3D high-definition vision system and special wristed instruments for enhanced precision, dexterity, and control.
• On-site Da Vinci Robot
• Patients per Day: Variable, approximately 10-15
• Patient Population/Age: Adult, including many seniors
• EMR: Epic
• Department Description: 25-bed critical access hospital, offering comprehensive care options with nearly 100 affiliated physicians, NP/PA providers, and visiting specialists.
  • Level IV Trauma
• Hospital Bed Size: 25, Critical Access
• Special Procedures: Da Vinci Robot, 3 OR suites, CRNA support
• Skills Required: Ideal candidate would have surgical practice with an interest in utilizing Da Vinci robot

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required (Urology)
• State License Required: MN
• DEA: Yes
• Certifications Preferred: Credentials in DaVinci robotics
• Minimum Experience Required: 2 years practicing preferred, as strong mentorship may not be available. Outreach urologist available once or twice per month for OR only.
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
