- Other Details: The Urgent Care Physician will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced community health setting, treating patients of all ages for acute and routine urgent care needs while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The role requires board certification, an active WA medical license and DEA, at least two years of recent urgent care or primary care experience, and proficiency in EPIC EMR. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week (Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday) from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM, totaling 40 hours, with a three-month contract and possible extension. Credentialing takes 2-3 weeks, and candidates must be available to start within four weeks. The provider must be comfortable seeing up to 18 patients per day, managing routine urgent care procedures, and working with vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees. Spanish or Russian language skills are a plus, and COVID and flu vaccinations are required.
