Job Description: Urgent Care Physician – Half Moon Bay, CA
Key Details:

- Start Date: ASAP through the end of May 2025.
- Shift Type: Day shifts with Saturday coverage required.
- Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care/Primary Care for all ages (excluding infants).
Compensation Details:
- Hourly Rate: $140/hour
Responsibilities:
- Provide urgent care and primary care services for all ages, including children (but no infants).
- Perform urgent care-related procedures.
- Manage a daily patient load of 15–25 patients.
- Use Cerner EMR for documentation.
Support and Facilities:
- Support Staff: 1 medical assistant and 1 front office staff.
- Reason for Coverage: Expansion of urgent care services.
- Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days
Candidate Requirements:
- Certifications:
- Board Certified (BC) or truly Board Eligible (BE) in Family Medicine (FM).
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine (IM) considered if candidate is comfortable seeing children.
- Active California medical license required.
- Certifications: DEA, BLS, ACLS, PALS (preferred).
- Experience:
- Clean malpractice history strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working independently with a diverse patient population.
