Facility in Half Moon Bay, CA seeking Urgent Care locums coverage

Rates: $150/hr

Position Overview

This facility is seeking 1 Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician (or Internal Medicine Physician comfortable seeing children) to provide urgent care and primary care services for all ages (excluding infants) on a locum tenens basis. The assignment will run from ASAP through the end of May 2025.

Schedule & Coverage Details

• Shift Schedule:

  • Wednesday – Saturday: 9:00 AM–8:00 PM (1-hour lunch/dinner break).

  • Commitment to these days and times is required.

• Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care/Primary Care.

• Patient Volume: 15–25 patients per day.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver urgent care and primary care services for all age groups, including children (but not infants).

• Perform routine urgent care procedures.

• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation.

Requirements

• Board Certification:

  • BC/BE in Family Medicine.

  • BC/BE in Internal Medicine if comfortable treating children.

• Licensure: Active California medical license (required).

• Certifications:

  • DEA, BLS, ACLS, ATLS, NRP, PALS (as applicable).

• Other Requirements:

  • Clean malpractice history (strongly preferred).

  • Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.

Credentialing Details

• Timeframe: 60–90 days.
