Position Overview:
Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care in Bakersfield, CA, for eight years in a row. We are hiring a Staff Urgent Care Physician with the Advancement of a Medical Directorship in Temecula, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Urgent Care Medicine practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
- Full-time is 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts per month, and managing 4 mid-level providers.
- Treat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care) in a low-acuity setting.
- Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
- Equipment: We offer In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-rays. All X-rays are overread by a Board-Certified Radiologist, and results are available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
- Easy-to-use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation and document all patients in one minute
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.)
- Completion of a formal Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program
- CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
- DEA Certificate
