The Department of Primary Care at Holyoke Medical Group are seeking a Physician for our walk-in clinic

Job Responsibilities

• Obtains appropriate patient history, performs physical evaluation, orders appropriate diagnostic tests and follows-up with interpretation, formulates assessment and initiates treatment plan with appropriate follow up appointments.
• Reviews incoming reports (e.g., lab, x-ray, EKG) signs, dates and follows up with patients in a timely manner.
• Ensures documentation is recorded in a complete, timely and orderly manner, utilizing template in the electronic medical record (Meditech)
• Shifts: Monday-Friday (8a-5p), Saturday (9a-2/3p), Advanced Practice Provider Support Onsite
• Patient Volume: 30-40 patients/day (after ramp up period)
• Highly competitive compensation package (including potential for a sign on/retention bonus, patient visit bonus/wRVU and relocation support) in addition to a robust benefits package.
• Flexibility for a $100,000 sign on bonus or student loan repayment

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of medicine; completion of a residency program in internal medicine or family medicine at a U. S. Hospital
• Experience: Open to new graduating residents as well as experienced providers
• License/Registration: (Current or Eligible to apply for) Mass. Board of Registration in Medicine, DEA License, CDS License, and ACLS certification.
• Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in internal medicine or family medicine
