We are seeking a full-time Vascular Surgeon to lead a community-focused vascular program in Northwest Ohio in partnership with a prestigious medical center. You will be instrumental in delivering advanced surgical care and shaping the future of vascular health in the community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish and oversee a community-based vascular surgery program.
• Provide advanced vascular surgical care, addressing conditions such as abdominal and thoracic aneurysmal disease, carotid artery disease, hemodialysis access, and peripheral vascular disease.
• Perform both open and endovascular surgical procedures.
• Manage vascular conditions with medical therapy, lifestyle modifications, and non-surgical interventions.
• Maintain a weekly schedule of 2 clinic days and 3 procedural/surgical days.
• Share on-call responsibilities covering 10 night/weekend shifts per month.
• Supervise advanced practice provider(s) involved in the delivery of vascular care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in cardiology, interventional radiology, and other specialties.
• Participate in program development and future expansion, including the recruitment of additional staff.
• Deliver patient-centered care and educate patients and families on treatment options.
• Maintain open communication with referring physicians and participate in institutional service activities.
• Provide training to medical students, residents, fellows, nursing staff, and allied health professionals.
• Receive a clinical faculty appointment with an esteemed university.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Vascular Surgery.
• Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• Clean malpractice and license history.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery – REQUIRED
• Valid Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain) – REQUIRED
• Clear malpractice and license history – REQUIRED
