Highlights


  • 2 weeks of coverage per month
  • Ongoing assignment located in an area with warm, mild weather year-round
  • No call requirements outside of 24-hour coverage


Practice Setting


  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Level 3 trauma center, 153-bed hospital
  • Average of 15 patients per day in the clinic


Schedule


  • Weekday coverage, Monday 7 am - Friday 7 am
    • Flexible, ongoing scheduling accommodations


Procedures and Cases


  • Carotid endarterectomy (CEA) and lower extremity bypass surgery
  • Endovascular interventions including angioplasty and stenting
    • Aneurysm repair; no endovascular unless emergent
    • Thrombectomies and fasciotomies for trauma


Requirements


  • Board-certified in Vascular Surgery
  • California state licensure required
  • BLS certification


Credentialing Requirements


  • Credentialing process typically takes 30 days or less
