Position Details:
Role: Locum Vascular Surgeon (MD/DO)
Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday with on-call coverage
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient practice, including surgery
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat a variety of vascular conditions including aneurysms, arterial blockages, and varicose veins.
Perform vascular surgeries such as endovascular procedures, carotid artery stenting, and bypass surgery.
Conduct preoperative, postoperative, and follow-up care for patients.
Collaborate with surgeons, cardiologists, and other specialists for optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures, patient responses, and follow-up care.
Qualifications:
MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Vascular Surgery.
Active Connecticut medical license or ability to obtain one.
Experience in vascular surgery, endovascular procedures, and patient care.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with patients and the healthcare team.
