The Yale University Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy seeks a board certified or board eligible vascular surgeon to join its diverse clinical practice group at Yale Medical. This full-time Assistant Professor position is ideal for a fellowship-trained vascular surgeon with demonstrated expertise in both open and endovascular procedures. The position offers a chance to work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment focused on patient-centered care and innovative treatments.
The candidate is expected to work collaboratively with a team of vascular surgeons in the care of patients with a variety of vascular conditions and work closely with other specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include performing in-patient and out-patient consultations, vascular operations, follow-up care, and procedures in the out-patient setting, combined with shared on-call responsibilities. The position offers opportunities to engage in research, education, and quality improvement initiatives.
