Henry Ford Medical Group at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital (HFHJ), is seeking a Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join our esteemed team in Jackson, Michigan. Located just 77 miles west of Detroit, our facility is known for its quality, innovation, and the remarkable care we deliver to the Jackson community.

Job Description:
  • Candidate must be TRULY Board Eligible fellowship-trained in Vascular Surgery (to be completed prior to start).
  • Open to upcoming 2025 graduates in final year of fellowship, but quick 2025 start is preferred.
  • Practice setting includes inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic.
  • Reason for coverage: Service line growth.
  • The group is very reputable and has a large volume of vascular cases.
  • The practice is supported by two vascular surgeons, one nurse practitioner, and certified vascular techs within the department.
  • Call coverage includes nights and weekends, with a 1:4 rotation shared among providers
  • Endovascular skills and vein experience is preferred.
  • Facility's trauma level/designation: Level II
  • Documentation system/EMR: EPIC
  • Open to H1B visa candidates, but cannot accept J1 candidates
  • Not open to providers who want to commute long distances (more than 1 hour) and/or in conjunction with another job(s)
  • Not open to 1099 candidates
  • Not open to Locum and/or Locum to Perm candidates
  • Not open to candidates who have lapsed Board Certification(s) and need to obtain them again
Conditions of Employment:
  • Employee Health requires all employed providers to complete a health screen per HFHS policy.
  • COVID Vaccination unreasonable Requirement; a provider must be fully vaccinated (unless they have an approved medical or religious exemption) before their application will be forwarded to a specialist during the credentialing process.
