Bon Secours Vein and Vascular Specialists is adding a Vascular Surgeon to our well-established and respected team in coastal Virginia!

Two Practice Locations: Maryview Medical Center, Portsmouth and Harbour View Ambulatory Surgery Center - North Suffolk/Harbour View

At least two years of experience as a Vascular Surgeon is required.

Must have experience with Endovascular procedures, TECAR and carotid stenting

  • Job Description: Seeking a Vascular Surgeon in a 3 provider practice seeing new and established patients. Performing in office and hospital vascular procedures, taking call on a rotation basis for evening and weekend.
  • Office Hours: Monday- Friday 7:30-4:30 pm
  • Call Schedule: 1:3 days and every third weekend. Evening weekday call schedule is 4:30 pm-8:30 am. Weekend call is from 4:30 pm Friday until 8:30 am on Monday. Currently covering two hospitals that are within 15 minutes apart.
  • Patient Base: New referrals and absorbing panel.
  • Average: 15-18 patients per day in clinic - hospital varies - all patients age 18+
  • EMR: EPIC and MyChart for Telemedicine as appropriate
  • Ancillary Services: Full Vascular testing lab in office with ultrasound.
  • Clinical Support: 1 LPN, 2 CMA 1 part-time Physician Assistant

Candidates must have completed a U.S.-based Residency Program, and be Board Eligible or Board Certified by ABMS/ABIM

Current, unrestricted, Virginia State license or eligible for Virginia licensure

Must be authorized to work anywhere in the U.S.
