This is an excellent opportunity for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Vascular Surgeon seeking a dynamic position in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The role involves joining a well-established single-specialty group offering comprehensive vascular treatment and surgical services. The ideal candidate will also participate in teaching General Surgery residents, with a volunteer faculty appointment at the University of Miami.
Key Features of the Position:
- Setting: Single-specialty practice with access to an Inpatient Hybrid room and Interventional Suites.
Services Provided:
- Treatment of arterial aneurysms, carotid artery disease, PAD, renovascular hypertension, and venous disorders.
- Hemodialysis access procedures.
- Teaching Role: Involvement in training General Surgery residents.
- Affiliation: Volunteer faculty position at the University of Miami.
Requirements:
- Education: MD or DO degree.
- Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited vascular surgery residency or fellowship.
Certification:
- Board-certified or Board-eligible in Vascular Surgery.
- Certification from the American Board of Surgery with CSQ in Vascular Surgery (or obtain certification within three years).
- Licensure: Current, unrestricted Florida medical license.
