The Boise Veterans Affairs Medical Center seeks a BC/BE vascular surgeon to join our growing, collegial, and multi-disciplinary team in Boise, ID focused on providing exceptional care to our veterans. The selected physician will be joining a growing and robust surgical services team comprised of sixteen surgeons and eleven APP’s. Opportunity information:

The Boise VA is an intermediate complexity facility, and the selected physician will work with our interventional cardiologists and physician assistants to provide veterans with vascular care services.

Procedures performed to include:

Carotid endarterectomies

Lower extremity: endarterectomies, angioplasty, stents, bypasses

Fistula creations for dialysis access

Vascular access via tunneled IJ catheters

Femoral and popliteal aneurysm repairs

IVC filter removals

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, days.

  • Must be U.S. Citizen – Non-US Citizens may be considered.
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the U.S.
  • Board certification preferred.
