Vascular Surgery Opportunities – Seeking Experienced and New Graduate Surgeons

Leading Coastal Healthcare System in the Southeast


Position Highlights:

  • Program Expansion: Join a respected healthcare system in a popular southeastern U.S. coastal region, where we are adding two vascular surgeons to build a dedicated service line in our Heart and Vascular Institute. Openings include one leadership role for an experienced vascular surgeon and another for any surgeon looking to launch their career.
  • Desirable Practice Setting: Enjoy a balanced schedule with designated procedure and clinic days, supported by comprehensive facilities that include a multi-room cath lab, numerous ORs, and a specialized cardiac monitoring unit.
  • Independent Vascular Service Line: This is a standalone vascular surgery service housed within the cardiology department, supported by skilled RNs, APPs, and collaborative cardiologists dedicated to the vascular program’s success.
  • Flexible Call Schedule: Manageable call of 10 days per month, providing ample work-life balance.
  • Collaborative Culture: Work alongside cardiologists and a dedicated team committed to establishing a premier vascular program in the region. Largest PCP referral base in the market.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: Starting range of $600,000 plus wRVU-based production incentives.
  • Sign-On Bonus: $35,000
  • CME Allowance: 5 days and $3,000 per year to support professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Degree: MD or DO
  • Certifications: Board Certification or Board Eligibility
  • Experience: Seeking one experienced vascular surgeon to lead program growth and one position open to new graduate to support this expanding practice.
  • Licensure: Eligible for medical licensure in the southeastern U.S.
  • Skillset: Proficiency or training in vascular procedures
