Job Summary
Sequoyah Staffing Agency is seeking a skilled Vascular Surgeon to perform onsite Vascular Surgery to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center, Oklahoma City (hereinafter referred to as OKC VAHCS). The ideal candidate will be required to cover the range of Vascular Surgery in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding the current recognized national standards.
VA Business Hours: Monday through Friday, 0800 to 1430
Clinic Schedule: Monday through Wednesday, 0800 to 1430
OR Schedule: Thursday through Friday, 0700 to 1330
Shared On Call Duties: 24/7

Responsibilities:
- Perform surgical procedures to treat vascular conditions such as aneurysms, varicose veins, and peripheral artery disease
- Conduct patient consultations to discuss treatment options and surgical procedures
- Interpret medical imaging results to diagnose vascular conditions accurately
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care, including trauma medicine, discharge planning, and clinical trials
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in vascular surgery through participation in clinical research and continuing education
- Utilize electronic health record systems like Cerner for accurate documentation
Qualifications:
- Current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia when services are performed onsite on VA property.
- Board Certified and/or Board Eligible by the ABS
- BLS
- ACLS
- Current DEA
- Current CME's
- Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently
