LOCATION:
Austin, Texas
Please note that this position begins with a 12-week training program in Manhattan, New York. Training is Monday to Thursday and all expenses are covered. Training is fully paid with a base salary and benefits (physicians are hired employees prior to the start of training).
COMPANY PROFILE:
This specialized vein practice opened more than 15 years ago and currently boasts a provider staff of more than 55 talented physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Together with their support teams, they offer vein disease services in comfortable, modern settings focused on excellent patient experiences. They currently operate more than 40 offices across the country and are hiring due to growth.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Physicians see between 20 and 30 patients per day, consisting of a mix of consultations, procedures, and short follow-up visits.
Physicians are highly supported by clinical assistants and on-site sonographers at all times, as well as by dedicated administrative staff members.
Many procedures are ultrasound-guided and the practice uses state-of-the-art equipment.
Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- consultations
- follow-up visits
- radiofrequency ablation
- sclerotherapy
- compression therapy
- laser ablation
- microphlebectomy
- Varithena
- Venaseal
The practice sees patients for, among other conditions:
- venous insufficiency
- varicose veins
- spider veins
- restless leg syndrome
- leg swelling
- leg heaviness
The practice uses the AthenaHealth EHR.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Texas medical license
- DEA
- Board Certification (any specialty)
- prior experience with procedures
- understanding of customer service focused environments
- ability to complete training in Manhattan
