Facility in Williamsport, PA seeking Vascular Surgery Locums Coverage

Rates: $3750/day

Position: Locum Vascular Surgeon
Assignment Duration: Part-time, with shifts 2 weekends per month

Position Overview:

Facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Vascular Surgeon to provide locum coverage. The surgeon will handle typical vascular surgery cases, including both open and endovascular procedures, and will be responsible for 24-hour shifts over two weekends per month, along with occasional PTO coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Typical Day: Rounding on hospital consults, managing new consults, discharges, and performing inpatient procedures in OR or IR labs.
• Shifts:
  • 24-hour call shifts: Friday 8a - Monday 8a
  • Average Admissions While On Call: 1-3
  • Average Consults Per Day: 4-15
  • Average Cases Per Day: 2-6
• EMR/Charting: Powerchart & Epic

Qualifications:

• Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery (REQUIRED)
• State License: Pennsylvania (will accept candidates needing to obtain a license)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (REQUIRED)
• DEA License: Yes (REQUIRED)
• Minimum Experience: 2 years (REQUIRED)
