Trauma Surgery Opening in Erie, PA Buffalo, NY 97m; Cleveland, OH 102m; Pittsburgh 128m We are seeking a Trauma/Acute Care Surgeon to join our team at a Level II trauma center in Erie, PA, a beautiful, family-friendly city on the water. This position offers a unique opportunity to focus on trauma surgery, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care in a 423-bed regional hub hospital. As part of a multidisciplinary trauma care team, you ll collaborate with surgeons from various specialties, including orthopedic, neurosurgical, and cardiovascular teams, in a well-equipped trauma facility with leading-edge diagnostic and testing tools. Key Responsibilities: * Provide trauma, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care services to patients. * Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of trauma surgeons, emergency physicians, orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, interventional radiologists, and cardiovascular surgeons. * Participate in the care of trauma patients in a Level II Trauma Center with an annual volume of 2,000+ trauma cases. * Lead and educate residents and medical students in academic surgery. Position Details: * Level II Trauma Center * Annual trauma patient volume 2000+. * 24/7 advanced practice provider support. * Trauma bays with state-of-the-art diagnostic and testing equipment. Qualifications: * Completed training in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care, or Acute Care Surgery. * American Board Certified/Eligible in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. * Superior clinical and decision-making skills in trauma and critical care settings. * Commitment to academic surgery, medical education, and team collaboration. * H1B visa candidates are encouraged to apply.
