At NorthBay Health the Board Certified, Trauma Surgeon will practice in our highly regarded health system in Northern California. NorthBay Health is ideally located between the San Francisco Bay Area Region, Napa Valley and Sacramento. In trauma care, every second counts. Since 2011, residents and visitors to Solano County have relied on NorthBay Medical Center's trauma team for high-speed treatment. Severely injured patients' best chance of survival comes when treatment occurs within that first "Golden Hour" after injury.

Our center's central location in Solano County is perfectly situated to deliver lifesaving treatment when every minute matters. Level II verification by the American College of Surgeons means critically injured patients receive the highest level of care available outside a university medical center.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Position Type: Full-time; both General and Trauma Shifts
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Trauma Designation: Level II
  • Provider Support: Collaborative team of Physicians and Advanced Practice Professionals

Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Training: Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency program. Completion of Surgical Critical Care Fellowship.
  • Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery.
  • Licensure: Valid and active medical license in California.
  • Certifications:
  • Experience: At least one (1) year of experience preferred, though recent fellowship graduates will also be considered.

Compensation and Perks:

  • Total Compensation Package Range: $600,000 - $670,000
