  • The Trauma Programis actively developing an EGS program comprising of Trauma, Surgical Critical Care and Emergency and Elective General Surgery to better meet the needs of a growing community.
Requirements Board certified in General Surgery Board certified or board eligible in Surgical Critical Care ATLS required Eager to be part of developing an elective general surgery practice for the trauma center Incentive/Benefits Package: Employment model with full health benefits and 401K with employer match Paid malpractice and CME allowance Relocation assistance About Trauma Services: State designated and ACS verified level II trauma center APP support 24/7 12-hour primary in-house coverage with night back-up call from home with 30-minute response time 24/7 on-site anesthesia, surgical services team & trauma-trained nurses About the Hospital 221-bed acute care hospital serving as the major regional hospital for the area Established in 1982, we are the only full-service cardiovascular program in Seminole and west Volusia Other specialized services including orthopedic and spine care, robotic surgery, wound care, acute inpatient medical rehabilitation, and complete imaging services.
