We are hiring locum Trauma Surgeon for an ongoing assignment in central Connecticut!
Job details:
- Start: As soon as credentialed
- Length: Ongoing
- Schedule: Weekday shifts x 1 week - Mon-Fri 7:00-4:00pm, Three weekday nights Mon-Fri 4:00pm to next am 7am,Two weekend shifts sat or Sunday for 24 hours from 7am to next day 7am
- EMR: Epic
- Cases/procedures Per Day: 5
- Description of OR Staff: Full compliment
- Patient Age Demographic: Primarily Adult/Geri but occasionally child/adolescent
- Procedures required: Adult trauma cases, Geriatric trauma cases, Penetrating trauma cases, Blunt trauma cases, Chest tube insertion
- Laparoscopic procedures required: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy
Job requirements:
- Board Certification
- Fellowship training
- CT state license (Or willing to obtain)
- DEA
- ACLS
- Local preferred
