My name is Jason Long with ProTouch Staffing. We have a Client in Central Iowa in need of an experienced, Board-Certified Locum Trauma Surgeon to cover two 7-day blocks of schedule in late September and late December 2024.
This client offers competitive compensation for the right Provider. Malpractice with tail & all travel expenses included. If you can cover these shifts, I want to hear from you!
Details:
- Dates of Coverage: September 23 @ 0700 - September 30 @ 0700 and December 23 @ 0700 - December 30 @ 0700. With possible future dates.
- Level 2 Trauma
- EMR: Hospital (Cerner), Clinic (AllScripts)
- Patient Demographic: Adult & Geriatric
- Locum provider will be covering emergency general surgery
- Credentialing timeline: 45 days
Requirements:
- Board Certified (Must be double Boarded in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care)
- Active IA License required. (Not currently accepting IMLC)
- ACLS, ATLS
- Must be available for dates listed above.
Required Thoracic Procedures:
- Chest Wall/Pleural Procedures
- Chest Tube & Central Line insertion
- PA Catheter Placement
Laparoscopic Procedures Required:
- Appendectomy
- Cholecystectomy
- Colon-Obstruction
Vascular Surgery Procedures:
- Abdominal
