StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with a hospital in the northern suburbs of Orlando, FL to assist them with the recruitment of another Trauma Surgeon to join their team.

Practice Highlights / Qualifications:
  • Must be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Surgery
  • Must have completed a Trauma / Surgical Critical Care Fellowship
  • Work out of 1 hospital, which is a level II trauma center
  • Work approximately 15, 12-hours shifts per month
  • Robust step-down unit
  • Must be ATLS certified
  • Good mix of blunt and penetrating trauma

The hospital you will cover is located in the northern Orlando metro area and was established over 40 years ago. As an accredited 221-bed acute care hospital, this facility offers a wide range of medical specialties and surgeries, including the only full-service cardiovascular program in the region, orthopedic and spine care and advanced robotic surgery. It has also received Primary Stroke Center certification (soon to be Comprehensive Stroke certified) as well as Knee Replacement certification.
