Description:
- Seekinga Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiologist who specializes in non-invasive cardiology (with an interest in heart failure and/or advanced cardiology as a preference but not a prerequisite).
- Interested candidate will join a large collegial group at a tertiary care center which has no overnight call responsibilities, great APP support, clinical pod structuring which allows physicians to work in a collaborative work environment.
- Part or full time engagement available based upon individual needs
- Graduated up ramping of yearly time-off with 40 days of PTO starting year 3
- No overnight call
- Pod-based clinic structure with dedicated support team for all clinical workflows (e.g. inbox management, surgical clearances, Peer-to-Peer, refill management, medical records, etc.)
- EPIC-based system for both inpatient and outpatient documentation
- Call participation adjusted based upon time employment (e.g. half of the call obligations for a 0.,5 FTE vs. 1.0 FTE)
- Flexible Clinic Schedule: Monday " Friday, 7:30 a.m. " 4:00 p.m.
- Average outpatient volume: 11 - 22 patients per day, depending on days clinic schedule.
- Weekend/Holiday Call: 1:5
- Short Call: One time per month, 5:00 p.m. " 9:00 p.m.
- Integration of APPs into call structure underway leading to less physician-based call responsibilities
- Tailor-made approach for inpatient vs. outpatient responsibilities
- State-of-the-art labs:
- Phillips systems which includes the Flex vision screens with the most updated software package including clarity software and availability of nine data out ports providing connection to TEE/CCTAs images on the Flex vision screens
- State-of -the- art cardiac CT I(including CT-FFR), MRI (both stress and 4D flow imaging) and vascular imaging
- Access to cutting edge structural heart program
- Minimal travel to outreach locations
