Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums Job | Inpatient 12 Hour Shifts | Monday - Monday Coverage
Jackson and Coker is partnered with a nationally recognized client on the coast of Virginia that needs Cardiothoracic Surgery locum tenens support starting in April 2025 + ongoing through 2025. Anticipated schedule:
* Will cover 12-hour inhouse shifts (7A-7P) during the weekdays
* Will complete 8-10 hours of rounding on Saturday & Sunday (no call)
* No call coverage required for this assignment
Dates of Coverage (ALL Monday at 7A - Monday at 7A):
--April 21 – April 28
--April 28 – May 5
--May 26 – June 2
-- Active and unrestricted Virginia license + DEA required
-- Board Certification required
-- Required procedures: ABG, AVR, MVR, type a dissection, TAVR, ECMO, Impella 5.5
-- Preferred procedures: MVV, general thoracic no esophagus, heart transplant donor, harvest, ascending aortic & non-aortic root surgery
-- Will work alongside of 2 other CT Surgeons + an entire team of heart specialists physicians & APPs
-- Call schedule will vary; 1:3 physician rotation + 1st call and 2nd call
-- Daily weekday volume: 50-60 patients per day (this to be divided by providers)
-- APP Support will be available in the inpatient setting
-- OR coverage / block time
-- Facility details: will primarily work at a heart 100+ bed hospital that's on the same campus of a larger, multispecialty facility | Epic EMR
