Medical Director Lung Transplant and Advanced Lung Failure
We are seeking an experienced and visionary surgeon to lead and elevate our highly successful lung transplant program to the next level
* Our program has consistently achieved excellence, with the best 1-year survival rate in the United States for lung transplant recipients for the past three years
* Candidate must have an extensive background in Lung Transplant and demonstrated leadership qualities and abilities
* Minimum of five years" experience in Lung Transplant is required
* Additional interest in minimally invasive/robotic thoracic or esophageal procedures will be supported
* Strong research background and demonstrated interest in research are highly desired, with extensive research opportunities available
* Involvement in resident and medical student education is encouraged
* Excellent starting salary plus bonus, with a strong benefits package, including additional compensation for Medical Director duties
* Strong surgical support group, including a 14-member APP team
* Closed, dedicated CTICU
* Ex Vivo Lung Perfusion device for DCD lungs program
* Commitment to multidisciplinary, team-based care
