Cardiothoracic Surgeon Locums Job in Kansas | Ongoing Assignment | Excellent Pay
This is a great opportunity for a qualified candidate to join a busy practice as a Cardiothoracic surgeon. This ongoing assignment offers excellent pay and a chance to make a difference in the lives of your patients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in CT surgery and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
2025 Dates of Coverage:
--February 17 am - February 24 am
--March 7 am - March 14 am
+2 weeks per month April-December 2025
Details/Requirements for Assignment #106436:
--Kansas license not required to apply if you have an active IMLC Letter of Qualification
--Board Certified/Board Eligible
--Large referral base
--500 bed hospital, no designated trauma level
--24-hour call
--Ongoing starting with specific dates for February + March 2025
--Seeking 2 weeks per month starting April 2025 and will be an ongoing assignment until permanent is hired
--100% inpatient which includes rounding, procedures and call
--3-4 surgeries per week on average
--Credentialing will take between 30-45 days
--No vascular experience required
Department Information:
--Average number of calls: 1-2 per night
--How many CABGs and other types of surgeries a year: 140 per year
--Support staff: FA, APPs, nurses, etc.
--Specific procedures/training required - TAVR, etc. potentially could need coverage on TAVR day, but may be able to work cases around our CT surgeon’s PDO days
--Supervision/Teaching responsibilities: None
--EMR: Epic
