Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery (MUST have experience w/ ECMO circuits & Impella)
Start Date: late January 2024
Contract Length: ongoing
Shift Details: TBD, typically 5-10 shifts per month, possibly more
Schedule: 24hr Call Only, 3hrs gratis
Work Details:
- Support staff: 2 Surgeons, 6 APPs, 4 Perfusionists
- Patients per day: tbd
- Patient population/age: tbd
- Department Info: Dedicated floor that houses both the 10-bed dedicated CVICU (for prep and recovery) and the CVORs (CVOR containing 3 dedicated rooms). 300 heart surgeries and over 150 lung surgeries (including robotics) this past fiscal year
- EMR: Epic
- Hospital bed size: 387
- Trauma: Level II Trauma Center
- Skills required: *** Must have experience w/ ECMO circuits & Impella, as well as Thoracic Surgery***.
