**Preferred Qualifications**
- *Board Certified/Eligible:* Cardiothoracic Surgeon, American Board of Thoracic Surgery or Equivalent
- *Procurement Experience:* Experience in heart and lung procurement preferred, though not required
- *Cardiothoracic Surgery Training:* Required for the role
**Requirements**
- Unrestricted Michigan medical license
- Bachelor's degree required
- *Certifications:*
- LIC-Physician (MD or DO) - State of Michigan
- DEA Registration - State of Michigan
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or ARC, required within 120 days
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA, required within 120 days if relevant to specialty or procedures
