- Seeking a BC/BE skilled Thoracic Surgeon to lead and cultivate a dynamic Thoracic surgery program
- Your role will involve collaborating with general surgery, pulmonology/critical care, and internal medicine groups at the Medical Center and Hospital to establish a comprehensive thoracic surgery program catering to the Northeast Market
- Potential to recruit a physician assistant for enhanced service provision
- Collaboration with various specialties within a comprehensive tertiary facility
- Emphasis on high-quality, collaborative care within a robust team setting
- Access to a substantial caseload of surgical procedures
- Engagement in an active research program
- Participation in a well-established teaching program with surgical residents and students
- Integration into a respected cardiovascular program serving the region
**Qualifications:**
- American Board of Thoracic Surgery certification or Board eligibility (for new graduates).
- Expertise and keen interest in all facets of adult thoracic surgery (excluding cardiac services, except for pericardial windows).
- Preference for experience or interest in minimally invasive robotic procedures.
