OPEN DATES:
12/21/24-1/1/25 -7a-7a (24 hr call)
- Setting: primarily inpatient surgical coverage for ED & referred elective cases. Largest ED in East Texas. Program does up to 100 hearts a year.
- Scope: Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. Harvest Own Veins. PA Support may be provided depending on volume.
- Patients per Day: 10-15
- Avg Call Back: 8 hrs/day
Qualifications
-State License: Active TX License, open to IMLC w/ LOQ in hand
-CV Surgery Fellowship - REQUIRED
-Both BLS & ACLS should be in place, but the training can be done on-site if necessary
-Malpractice status: Case by Case Basis- No major discipline.
-Must be in good standing with state medical boards and meeting credentialing criteria to maintain privileges for procedures.
