Surgery - Cardiothoracic Locum job in Sioux City, IA

Medical Center is looking for call coverage + inpatient rounds.

Provider must be available to cover the dates below:

November 16 (am) - December 1 (am)

24-hour coverage + inpatient rounds

• Hospital setting
• About 1 case per day + potential emergencies. *TAVR days are on Wednesdays
• Will be supervising 1 PRN CT Surgery APP
• Trauma level 2
• 14 patients/day for clinic; 6 patients/day for hospital
• Average number of trauma cases/day: 10
• Average number of elective cases/day: 2
• 120+ beds
• 24 ICU beds
• 2 dedicated CVOR rooms, dedicated CVOR team, dedicated APP to manage inpatients and clinic follow ups, dedicated clinic nurse
• Typical/Required Procedures: Adult cardiac surgery, trauma, ventricular aneurysmectomy, general thoracic surgery, Coronary artery bypass surgery, CABG on pump, valve repair and replacement, maze on pump, maze minimally invasive (mini maze)

• Board Certified
• Active IA license No IMLC
• Cerner
