Wonderful Cardiothoracic Surgeon Opportunity in Tallahassee, FL

This practice is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our esteemed team of physicians. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of our Integrated Cardiovascular Service Line and advance our Quaternary care program. We are looking for a dedicated professional with expertise in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery, including minimally invasive robotic techniques and proficiency in vascular services, TAVR, and endovascular procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a comprehensive range of adult cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures, including On and Off-Pump CABG, Mitral Repair, TAVR, arrhythmia surgery, and aortic surgery (open and endovascular)
  • Utilize minimally invasive techniques for lung resections, esophagectomy, and anti-reflux procedures
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in practice, ER, and hospital call rotation (1:4)
  • Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs)
  • Maintain a clinic schedule of one day per week, with four days dedicated to surgical procedures and in-patient management

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Experience and interest in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery, with proficiency in minimally invasive robotic techniques
  • Knowledge and experience in vascular services, TAVR, and endovascular procedures preferred
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
