This southwest Georgia health system is seeking board certified/board eligible Thoracic Surgeon who wishes to start a new position in 2025.

Applicable candidates should have experience with:

  • Large role in surgical oncology
  • CABG, TAVR, Chest Tumor Surgery, Coronary Artery Disease, Heart Valve Repair, and Lung Resection.
  • Interest in Lung Cases
  • Call 1:3 Board Certified/Board Eligible
  • Level 2 Trauma Center

Fiscal Year 2021 (August 2020 – July 2021) 305 cases:

18 TAVRs, 143 CABGs, and 9 Mitral Valve repair-replace just to name a few. With COVID it affected many of our services lines and surgical procedures.

Mediastinoscopy- 8

Pacemaker insertion and change out- 46
