Academic Lung Transplant Surgeon - Cardiothoracic Surgery
Opportunity to join rapidly growing Lung Transplant Program at Assistant / Associate / Professor level with Leadership Potential
* Additional interest in minimally invasive/robotic thoracic or esophageal procedures will be supported
* Involvement in resident and medical school student education as well as strong research background encouraged
* Excellent starting salary plus bonus with strong benefits package
* Strong surgical support group including 14-member APP team
* Closed dedicated CTICU
* Ex Vivo Perfusion device for DCD lungs program
* Commitment to multidisciplinary team-based care
Affiliated with the University of South Florida Medical School, a highly ranked public research university which is nationally ranked in 6 specialties by U.S. News & World Report. Ranked top 10% in US News & reports and among the top cancer centers in Newsweek. TGH Cancer Institute is seeking NCI-designation. TGH Cancer Institute boasts a large tissue biobank and a rapidly expanding clinical trial infrastructure. Additionally, the cancer institute has rapidly growing stem cell transplant and CAR-T cell therapy programs.
The compensation package for this position includes an excellent base salary along with a bonus structure.
