About Us:
-Hospital employed position for a board certified plastic surgeon in a well-established and comprehensive breast and reconstructive practice in Norman, OK. This candidate would become Department Chair within one year.
-Primary focus will be breast reconstruction at approximately 60-70% of practice. The position may also perform all aspects of general cosmetic surgery both elective and non-elective.
-Our breast surgery program includes high risk clinic staffed by a Nurse Practitioner certified in genetic counseling, and Nurse Navigators who skillfully facilitate patient flow. With a large service area and established referral patterns, the Breast Care Center cares for a high volume of breast cancer and high risk patients.
-Strong collaboration with OU Stephenson Cancer Center, the state’s only NCI-designated cancer center, delivering the most advanced cancer care and clinical trials.
-Join us at our new state-of-the-art facilities recently completed with a substantial hospital addition and renovation at our main campus. There are 24 operating rooms, 32 ICU beds, 32 step-down beds, with 307 total hospital beds.
-There are 48 ED beds and we are a Level II trauma center.
-Clinic is located on campus.

-Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Salary is guaranteed with opportunity to earn bonuses based on an RVU model. Starting salary range is $518k - $718K.

Work Schedule:
-Typical weekly schedule includes two clinic days, two OR days, half-day admin, half-day off.
-Call is shared and average is 0-3 calls per week.
Qualifications/Skills:
-BC/BE in Plastic Surgery.
-Microsurgery proficient.
-Valid medical license to practice in the state of Oklahoma.
-Strong communication skills.
-Commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.
