Oral and Maxillofacial / Head and Neck / Microvascular Surgeon Opening Wilmington, NC Full-time, permanent position Employed opportunity Competitive salary package Malpractice Excellent medical benefits Relocation allowance Annual allowance for CME The largest multi-specialty group in the area is seeking a full-time Oral and Maxillofacial / Head and Neck / Microvascular Surgeon to join our Maxillofacial and Reconstructive Surgery practice. The practice currently includes two maxillofacial surgeons and one head and neck oncology surgeon, all with microsurgical training. This is an exciting opportunity to help develop and expand the scope of services offered in Southeastern North Carolina, with a strong focus on reconstructive and trauma surgery. Ideal candidates will meet the following criteria: Medical degree required (MD or DO), dental degree (DMD or DDS) preferred but not required Fellowship training in head and neck and/or microvascular surgery Board certification or eligibility through the American Board of Plastic Surgery (or equivalent) Experience in management of facial trauma and secondary reconstruction is highly desired Highly motivated, team-oriented, and able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team Clinical focus includes, but is not limited to: Breast reconstruction (implant and microsurgical) Extremity reconstruction General oncologic reconstruction Trauma surgery (including facial trauma and hand) Practice highlights: Strong inpatient and outpatient network including primary care, trauma surgery, surgical and medical oncology, colorectal surgery, and other specialties Regional Level II trauma center Wound care center Established microvascular surgery support Opportunity to develop a body esthetic surgery practice over time
